  1. I'm a physicist, and I've finally figured out the ultimate truth argument for the shape of earth. READ THIS VERY SLOWLY AND THINK ABOUT WHAT I'M TELLING YOU HERE: -- If you can SEE a horizon AT ALL on the ocean, then you are seeing the place where the curvature breaks over at the sky and you can't see behind it, like trying to look over a hill! The hill is a hill of ocean. -- If the earth was flat, there wouldn't BE a horizon on the ocean AT ALL, because you can't see far enough to see where the flat plane of the earth meets the sky. It's TOO FUCKING FAR AWAY to see it through THAT MUCH AIR!! What you would see is a slow fading of the sky's color into the ocean's color over a wide range of angles up and down, and no horizon would be crisply demarcated AT ALL! -- THAT'S HOW WE KNOW THAT THE WORLD IS A GLOBE!!! BECAUSE WE CAN SEE A CLOSE HORIZON!! Do you understand now???
