  1. Upright bike seats are UNCOMFORTABLE and damaging to pudendal nerves and cause erection dysfunction. A recumbent bike is MUCH more comfortable. Whether trikes or tadpoles or bicycles with recumbent lay back seats, these are a HUGE improvement!! Only a lucky proportion of the elderly can use upright bikes, the alternative of electric recumbents is crucial for inclusiveness and getting more people on bikes.
