  1. Mark Moss Debt of a nation is imaginary, it isn't important. All that is important is the nation's production of needed commodities, food, water, medicine, fuel. Lack of THAT is the only thing that can ruin the economy. No, it does NOT have to bankrupt the next generation paying for it. We can leave it alone till it is forgotten. Right wing idiots believe the national debt is a problem, but only as an excuse to beat back social programs for the workers they have impoverished. When they want military spending they ignore the debt entirely.
