Interestingly, replanting the world's forests could take care of about 2/3rds the world's excess CO2, but to do that we'd have to roll back farming and 2 billion would starve. Only stoners think hemp is a hot idea, they want to smoke it, but it's not as good as other crops for yield, either for food or for carbon sequestration, we have much better crops for both. Solar flares aren't a problem, you're believing stupid rumors.

If you do the math on how much carbon we HAVE to have put into the atmosphere because of how much we KNOW we have burned, you find out that at nearly 400 ppm right now, vs 280 ppm five decades ago, the atmosphere still has half of it, photosynthesis is NOT getting rid of it. It's VERY easy in the lab to see what CO2 does with IR, the IR doesn't get through it, it is absorbed and turned to atmospheric heat. The carbon is EXACTLY the isotope balance found in fossil fuels, NOT volcanoes.

And the sun is VERY well monitored OUTSIDE the atmosphere and from sun circling probes, and it hasn't varied 3% as much as would be required to explain this warming. Why are you terrified to admit the science is right? Do you have some emotional problem? Are you so terrified of government exerting power than now it has to do so it will mean an end to some of your imagined freedoms to pollute?
