  1. To be offgrid and a homesteader you NEED NEED NEED to learn auto/truck repair!! Get you some books on it and study it RELIGIOUSLY!! It makes your country life SO MUCH EASIER!! Buy old tools at thrift shops and sales! Toss all that attitude that "I'm not mechanical", it'll hurt yah!

  2. When it's in the starter itself it's a solenoid, when it's bolted to the sidewall it's called a starter relay!!
