  1. I'm a hard-core anti-theist atheist, been one since I was ten years old. I'm now 68. I see nothing wrong with Grady, the man is hilarious!! I've NEVER heard him make religious pronouncements from his lectern as sheriff. Being a sheriff of a county is an on-call 24/7 job. He can wear his uniform to church, especially if he is asked to speak ABOUT his job. As long as he isn't proclaiming god's favor for his religion and pretending his job is somehow related to that god, who cares? He has the right to blabber his own churchianity in his off time in his own church. Your job shouldn't and doesn't limit your right to your own religion!! And THAT'S freedom of expression!!
