  1. We can't solve Mexico and central America's problems for them. If people keep coming, like idiots, then if they have a relative here who has promised them a place, expel the relative to Mexico to take care of them!! We can no more solve these foreign problems than we could solve Afghanistan's problems. We cannot just open our borders, we'd be swamped immediately.

  2.  @zdaniel  Oh don't be stupid, I know where all those nations are, I've probably been to more of them than YOU have! But if Mexico let them in, then Mexico is responsible for them, and speaking the same language they are more suited to help them anyway. We are an attractive nuisance in the region because of our wealth. But we still cannot just open our borders, sorry. Get other Spanish speaking nations in central and south America to take them in, like Europe took in muslim refugees. Spread around in those nations they wouldn't be much of a burden, and would fit right in and probably do those nations a lot of good. Sorry, but we cannot simply open the border so these folks can come to America and get rich. And that really IS the motivation, isnt it? Of course it is, nobody chooses a nation whose language you don't speak when fleeing something dangerous, that's even MORE dangerous. When you flee a gang or abusive spouse you don't have to run away 1500 miles to escape, get real, this is an excuse to try to become movie stars like they think all Americans are. It's a stupid third world pipe dream. But we cannot at this time accommodate them, sorry. The US can send monetary aid to these refugees to be administered by the UN or such. But a huge influx of immigrants right now would destabilize our politics and get Trump re-elected next time or something worse, and next time he will want to shoot all immigrants crossing into the US. US politics right now are on a knife edge, and immigrants could push it over the cliff. Immigrants are as much a danger to the US and its freedoms right now as are the evil ones these folks are fleeing. Buen dia.

  3.  @zdaniel  Yes, this happens, but we still cannot just open our borders. The conditions in other nations are NOT ALWAYS the fault of the USA. Sometimes they HAVE been, but people everywhere are responsible for their own nation's affairs.
