  1. A fetus is NOT a person, it does NOT THINK, and that is the core of being a person! Things that think are persons, things that do not think are PROPERTY, the woman's property which she can dispose of. Forcing a woman to remain pregnant is organ enslavement, same as if you forced her to give blood or donate an organ or be forced to be a blood surrogate to someone with kidney failure. The zygote/embryo/fetus is a human LARVA, it is alive, it is human, it is growing, but it is NOT A PERSON and HAS NO RIGHTS!! A fetus is NOT a "baby" or a "pre-born child"! No, Science does NOT say that human "Life" begins at conception, it says it is cellular life begins, with a small "l", and not human experienced Life with a large "L". it is unfortunate that English doesn't use different words for the two. The reason the Holocaust was evil is that it tortured and killed PERSONS WHO THINK!!! Abortions are NOT comparable in any way to a Holocaust. We kill cellular life all the time, we kill germs and animals to eat. But the only human Life is that of a thinker. not something which has never had a single thought. You know fetuses do not think, your body was a fetus, and if you claimed to remember being that fetus, people would ridicule you and you would lose credibility. Everybody KNOWS they did not think as a fetus. Anyone who tries to enslave a woman to a pregnancy should be taken out and beaten to death the same as someone who captures women and keeps them enslaved in a cage in their basement!! You religious SHIT are NOT going to win this one, despite all your efforts and your subtle tricks to deceive us and twist logic with words. The belief that a "soul" enters the conceptus at conception is a religious SUPERSTITION that is NOT supported by anything BUT that rank unfounded delusion!! And people who no longer believe such religious trash should NOT be oppressed by it.

  12.  @vladislavp.8731  People asleep or in coma, which is just unconsciousness, have established their personhood previously. They are protected by our laws because we all want such protection for ourselves, so we grant it to any previously thinking person. A person exists until and unless several licensed physicians over several days of many tests adjudicate a state of brain death. DNA identity as the human species doesn't matter. An amputated arm has that as well. Living tissue extracted has that. Only personhood matters, and that is established by thinking. Yes, the USA is deranged religious nation. It is coming out of it over time, the number of atheists/non-believers have now exceeded the number of evangelicals, who are the main problem. That's why the religious are going crazy, they can't get their way anymore, and it is making them retreat into greater and greater delusion. Christians are heading toward insanity. Christianity is delusional and superstitious. There is NO rational basis for anything it holds true. Nobody on the atheist side are evidencing growing more depressed or suicidal. Most atheists say they have never felt better, more free, and more aware of the world and its benefits. They recall when they were religious and how bad it was for them emotionally. They are glad to be free of it. Meaning is a human invention. We make it, nothing else makes meaning. We define our own life purpose. We don't just accept being brainwashed with someone else's purposes for us. Goodness and ethical morality Evolved on the plains of ancient Africa, as we Evolved from the apes. Those who had affection for, and were cooperative with other humans survived better, those without that were eaten by predators, one at a time, and they are NOT our ancestors. THAT'S Natural Selection. There is NO source of absolute morality, since there is no god. Instead, because we are the same species, our personal subjective moralities we inherited genetically are all quite similar, with some variation. That similarity creates the sort of an objective morality that we share. Guilt and shame are defective damaging emotions, they are caused by trying to live up to a standard you don't really believe in, deep down, and your cognitive dissonance between the two produces the "angel/devil" on opposite shoulders syndrome that christians are burdened with, quite schiophrenically. Atheists don't have that. We recognize our own personal morality as our own idea, and so we naturally want to do moral things. We take full responsibility for our actions, AND our thoughts!! Now OUR morality may differ from yours, quite a bit, but we have no problem with ours, whereas yours violates real human nature and so you're constantly conflicted by yours. Christians have all sorts of guilt and shame around sex and masturbation and different sexual desires that were not customary in this society in the recent past, whereas atheists have no such guilt or shame. We see all sexual desires as normal and natural, and we live them out and enjoy their pleasures. No, our morality IS our purpose, and our meaning to our lives, and your notion of "purpose" seems stilted and artificial to us. You keep imagining some "god" gives you purpose, where we see NO god whatsoever. To us, your "right and wrong" are distorted versions of natural inherited human morality.
