  1. Felicia: All the men in my family were raised to pee standing up. In the USA it is regarded as a sign of manhood, and guys who squat-to-pee are regarded as womanly. I take every opportunity in my old age to sit down, so it's not an issue, but urinals work fine and they are convenient for open-fly pants. Men pee when they poop and think nothing of it, but just for peeing sitting seems too much of a production. They even sell a little funnel-thing for woman so they can pee standing up in the woods or wherever.
