  1. What if we found it would take $30 billion to make each extra kW?? That would not be worth it. Even if it was a lot better, it might take 40 years to build enough to protect the climate and the climate would be totally fucked by then. We'd better keep going expanding wind and solar and wave and tidal as well, while they play with it some more!! I'm a physicist, and a skeptic. I've noted they come out with a new wowser announcement every time they need more money, about every 5 years.
