Hi Phil. the most effective clothes "dryer" I've seen is one of those cheap Chinese spinner/extractors found in the little plastic dorm washer/spinner machines, sometimes also sold separately as just a spinner, for under $100.. It just uses centripetal force to fling the water out of clothes in about 3-5 minutes using about 200W. They are so dry afterward that you can just hang them in the sun and they are as dry as you want in another 15 minutes. The high pressure washer in combo is not bad either.
