  1. David, you're never gonna ban guns, too many people will be willing to shoot you. Your only reasonable hope is to keep REAL nutballs from getting them. What that will require is placing the gun owners' union in charge of deciding who and who cannot have AR's AK's and high capacity magazines, and then charging that membership for their mistakes, criminally and civilly. They own it, and they are held responsible to interrogate potential gun owners and get them psych evaluated. Establish all gun owners as a mandatory legal militia, answerable to the government and their membership.
