  1. All that analysis does is confuse people, David. The simple fact is that single payer ELIMINATES the unearned profit in the cost, the investor's share, and ALSO eliminates medical billing, which is a major cost. The medical care might cost the same as now, but the total cost inevitably drops by up to HALF!!
