  1. Use your electric car. Most electric cars can power a home for two to three days!! When we all have electric cars and a roof full of solar panels we WILL have the storage, and with the power walls coming out, you can do that easily. She's an anthropologist, for gawdsakes, what the fuck does she know about the physics? Geezus, David!! Every solar system feeds batteries!! So does every small wind turbines. The more distributed renewables we have in people's back yards or neighborhoods, the less we need the grid for anything!! Her grasp of all this is VERY superficial and kindergarten!! -- a physicist!!
