  3. The difference is the Bahai's didn't threaten the world with jihad and swear death to non-believers. If they had done that I would have wanted them dead too. And no, Islam never persecuted Bahai's because the Bahai's had threatened jihad and death to non-believers in Bahai. They persecuted them because they weren't muslim. As for monolithic, if you join a club like Islam that says your moronic book is true and from god and it wants to hurt and kill people, then you bought the package, you don't HAVE an out!! The only reason I'm slightly easier on christians is most of them DON'T say their book is true or from god anymore, just that it is some kind of history of their faith. As for christians that say it's true and from god, since they believe all manner of viciousness and murder, I'll want them dead too first time they act up.
