  1. I didn't fear for my safety on the TTC as a jacked dude. I remember walking around in Toronto in 2015 without crowds. And you could use the 401 outside rush-hour. Rent and food crazy high. Idiots tanked this country, re-skilling in tech and GTFO ASAP to USA. Salaries are shit vs. our rising living costs. The fact he was voted in 3x despite all the scandals, incompetence, and idiocy has made me lose all respect for this country (I was born here). Canada deserves what they're getting really soon. I don't give a shit what happens at this point. I saved and invested (in S&P500) in USD from 2015 onwards, insulated from this stupidity.

The economics are very easy to understand, but the sociological dynamics are a bit tougher (which do impact the economics downstream): Fertility is high in countries where women don't work, but standard of living not necessarily the greatest. Standard of living WAS high, but fertility is low in countries where women do work. Raising kids AND working is very tough, and is a raw deal nowadays, especially as welfare allocates resources from those who do work to those that don't. No one really knows the answer/solution to this one. I'm not advocating women don't work, they should be free to do as they wish. There are just obvious trade offs. I don't have the answers to this one...

  7. Ugh, just crash already. This thing has been teetering for so long. Just let the logical conclusion play out and let prices come back to normal. Anyway I've lost all respect and faith in this country. I remember we used to laugh at the US for this from our budget surplus in 2007/2008. Now we're the laughing stock of the world in more ways than one.

Unless the Chinese gov was genius and knew the wokes would have broken us and swayed our elections that way...then invited 1 million migrants in 1 when there was already a housing crisis.
