@fallen_212 Humans already have the morals of chimpanzees. You're forgetting about societal and environmental influences, monkeys are also good-natured when they live in a greenhouse environment. And there are plenty of examples of successful adults grabbing knives and doing the same thing that chimpanzees do when faced with a bullying situation or something like that for the first time in their lives. And as for "rule breakers" no need to explain how brutal most people are about hierarchy.
Originally morality is not based on public interests and ideas but on emotions, emotions are a universal language for many animals, other moral ideas it's like second layer.
Things like interest to exloration, need in movement and playing, hunting thrill, lust, personal boundries, territory, affection, dominance, insecurity it's very human and also basic and animalistic
