  1. This is not socialism, this is re attributing public works to socialism. The difference is simple. Try taking these bits of "socialisim" home with you, go out and take a park bench home, or a stop sign, etc. Money for public works goes into public works. Money that is redistributed from you to people who don't feel like working hard is theirs to keep. Its really simple. The people trying to conflate these values think you are stupid enough to believe it. With the state of today's schools they may be right.

  2. Suggestion: don't just interview people from Venezuela about what happened and why they got out. Ask them if they voted for Chavez. Ask them if they still think socialism is a good idea and would vote for it. You might be surprised at the answer.
