  1. Don't publish the name of the shooter. Some responsible reporters have already started to do that. Have them cremated so that there is no gravestone. Stop going into endless deep dives into the lives of the shooters, the victims are the ones that should get the attention. However, there is a lot more we can do in terms of shooter psychology. Most of these shootings are anti-social teenagers. A kid who likes to wear black and reads "mein kampf" needs help, not new age "let them be" nonsense. Finally, allow teachers to carry concealed. Everywhere. This has been totally misconstrued as "making teachers carry" or "encouraging shootouts". It is none of that. It is simply about creating doubt in the minds of shooters that they will be able to complete their plans. The most successful times a shooting has been stopped is the shooter getting shot in the back. Concealed carry is not about being a hero, its about stopping threats any way possible.
