I like reason TV, but there are a few points that need to be made here. First, the Wiki, from "wiki wiki" Hawaiian for "quick quick" as a group edited web page was around before wikipedia. Second, as John Stossel points out in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiRgJYMw6YA In which Stossel demonstrates that putting known and verifiable facts on a wikipedia web page gets deleted without explaination because it does not fit the leftist agenda. Wikipedia has become a bastion of left leaning editors deciding what the "truth" is according to their agenda. I Spent something close to a year trying to fix a web page on a subject I was/am an expert that was bascially being hyjacked by people trying to push their own agenda. I succeeded, but one day I looked around and noticed that the same page had the old distortions in other languages that had never been corrected. Short story, I gave it up. Today I trust Wikipedia about as much as a cockroach in the kitchen. It's true that Wikipedia later had a "catharsis" and instituted a program of higher level editors to try and maintain order in the system, but (as Stossel points out) that simply replaced group kaos with a group of biased overlords who have blanket permission to censor and distort facts as they please.
