  1. Those "the brain has the equivalent of so much memory" are like saying a beach is the equivalent of a computer because they both are based on sand. Its not the memory capacity that makes your brain.

  2. True story: in the 1980s my company got a Univac 1101 mainframe computer FREE from the government research lab in White Sands, New Mexico, just for the shipping cost. Why? It was costing them more money for the power to run it per year than to buy a new one. We needed it because Univac would not sell us one, since we were a competitor (yes, that is legal).

  3. Sorry, this is kinda pointless. The next horizon for SSDs is faster interfaces, like four lane NVMe, like M.2 cards. What good is 16tb if its slower than .5 tb?
