PS. one solution not considered here is "box in box", that is, a dry ice box will last 10 days in room temperature, but if you put that box in a common refrigerator, voila!, you have extended deep freeze storage. Another thing we can do now that we could not do before is cheaply "chip" the box with a small computer that can both RFID with readers and provide a temperature tracking that can tell if the box ever exceeded the correct temperature.
