  1. An excellent counterpoint to that innuendo filled infomercial put on by Netflix. Too bad a fraction of the viewers will be here as will view the Netflix special. I think a good modern summary of the situation is: We had a chance in the 1960s-1970s to go to clean energy and blew it with the same superstition and hysteria as killed the Concord. The reality is we doubled down on fossil fueled power plants. We could have had reasonable clean power by now, along the lines of France. This was a loss for everyone. But nobody will know or care because politics won.
