  1. I have been using copilot for a week now. I found that it got much better after I started correcting it. You tell it how to write things, or give it context dependent info like "use the routines in xyz library, which you can find here". After a while the autocomplete advice starts to look scary accurate. At other times it just appears to be copying other parts of my code. The jury is still out, but I can see how it will become useful.
