  1. All wars end with a peace treaty. The one exception was North Korea, and look how well that turned out.

  2. The most sensible end of the war is an agreement between Ukraine and Russia to continue the lease for Sevastopol to Russia as a black sea port. That's how things were since Ukraine won independence, and cutting Russia off from black sea access would simply leave Russia wanting to get that back - permanently.
