  1. That Chinese one looks like the "railroad" anvils we use to make in high school metal shop. The railroad company had given us a few of their old rails, and we sliced them into sections with a cutting torch and made small anvils out of them. You have to do a fair amount of work to prep the face of the anvil (hardening) or they are worthless.
