  1. In California, we not only stopped fires, but we stopped logging and virtually put the lumber industry out of business in the name of the environment. Lumber production in CA is 1/6 of what it was in its peak. So now we have way more standing timber with dryer conditions. What is happening to all the trees we saved? You're breathing it now. Good going.
