"500 feet from persons or property" is the basic FAA altitude law. This means, theoretically, you can fly 2 feet high if you are above open land, even if that land is not yours. Here "property", means buildings, cars, etc. Does anyone actually do that? Well, outside of crop dusting, I know of pilots that like to go out into the desert and fly "on the deck", low to the ground.

Body fit issues: that was during the first manufacturing of the model 3, in late 2017. I have a 2018 model 3, and the fit and finish was fine.

There used to be private beaches when I was a kid (I'm 65). One such owner in LA had the city come out and rip out the fences with tractors after they refused to remove them.

There was a variation of the satellite receiver thing a while back. They used to have dealer installed radios that if you remove them, they disable themselves permanently, rendering the radio useless. Mine was stolen. The thieves don't bother to check.

Ah, the $10,000 life lesson. "yes, you don't have to fill out any paperwork if you buy with all cash".... he he. Whats the old joke? I asked the salesman how much the car cost, and he said "how much do you have". Would you believe that was the exact cost of the car???

I bought a Jayco 10 years ago. It had obvious quality issues like too long screws that were hanging out in mid-air inside cabinets. But nothing I could not fix. However, 3 years ago a large section of the floor caved in. The RV dealer I bought it from quoted me more than the worth of it just to get STARTED on a fix. I took it home, tore down that section myself, and found the issue. The maker had cracked the toilet fitting to the black tank when installing it, and it had been leaking out of there for years, resulting in the wood floor rotting out and failing. I never expected a Jayco travel trailer to be the top notch quality, but what I got was disposable quality. Do yourself a favor and buy better quality RVs and not the cheap ones.

I had an LG washer that went bad after 3 years, right after the warrantee expired. After the "factory authorized" repairman came out 3 times and was unable to fix it, LG offered me half the price of the machine to go away. To this day, my rule is "do not buy LG". It was a good machine, the highest tech they had, front load, steam wash, top of the line. I suspect the basic problem is that LG does not properly train their techs in how to fix their machines, and the factory does not offer proper support for them. My brother had a "monitor top" refrigerator in his dorm room at college. These are refrigerators sold in the 1930's. Still operating. The first question I asked was "why was it still there?". I would have thought someone would have replaced it by now. The answer was: it was too heavy to move. In those days they built stuff like a safe. That was why they lasted.
