  1. "the PRC wants to wait until the ROC wants reunification", NO, emperor Xi wants to wait until the USA is preoccupied and attack Taiwan and take it by force. And Xi is getting closer to that goal every day. Just look at what happened to Hong Kong. China now has "conventional ballistic" capabilities which are ICBMs repurposed with non-nuclear warheads and are designed to take out any ship that could aid Taiwan (USA carriers have automated Phalinx systems that can take out conventional cruise missiles). Xi wants his legacy to include taking on the children of Chang Kai-Shek and reunification by force. In the process whinny the poo will bring the world to the brink of WWIII.
