  1. "natural gas production in the USA has gone up 80% during fracking" well, actually this is more impressive than it sound. NG production in the USA was a going concern even when oil production was in decline, because the wells where oil was running out still produced NG. When the frac revolution started, NG was essentially a byproduct of oil drilling, and still is. If you want oil, and frack to get it, you get NG whether you like it or not. So the USA got flooded with NG. And a lot of it is simply burned off at the wellhead.
