"there is no way to store solar and wind power" Not true, PSH (Pump Storage Hydroelectric) has been around for decades, there is a lot of it being created, and there is virtually no limit to its use. Further, much of the present hydroelectric and water storage can be converted to PSH use (anytime a higher dam feeds into a lower one). Also the "why solar power is expensive" is a canard. Solar panels have only been around for a few decades, and are now riding an incredible cost reduction curve. Evaluating that would be like drawing conclusions about fossil fuels a few decades after they were found in Pennsylvania.
