  1. Less than $52,800 would pay no income tax Why should anyone who makes money be let out of paying taxes? I started at minimum wage in the 1970s, and I paid taxes. What purpose does it serve to let anyone contribute NOTHING to their government? It only makes sense if you are trying to buy votes.
