  1. Hydrogen is an energy storage technology, not a generation technology. Thus it is racing against battery technology, which is currently ahead. Its a better bet that batteries will improve at the same or better rate than hydrogen tech, and will still look like a better technology 10, 20 or more years from now. Hard to compete with a tech that does not involve gas transfer or storage.
