  1. Comments: 1. Most of the Harris ranch chargers you mention are not up yet. I was just there, they are taped off. 2. Opening up the chargers to other cars is not good move for Tesla owners. It means more charger congestion, and also one reason Tesla chargers work so well is the payments system, just plug and go. Other cars would have to have the user swipe a card or other means, which means that the use of chargers slows down while other cars than Tesla fumble with the payment system. 3. Actually the biggest power grid provider is already there as the so called vtg or vehicle to grid pushed by Emotorwerks and other charger makers. The idea was that cars plugged into these chargers would be able to give power back to the grid, making it immediately the largest total battery capacity on the grid. In practice the idea has not taken off.
