  1. Stop saying "energy density". With aircraft, its all about the weight. There was never a problem finding space on an aircraft, the wings, where gas is stored, are for the most part empty on light aircraft. The problem is batteries are: 1. Far to heavy. 2. The weight does not change. Unlike gas power, they don't get lighter as you fly. Gas does, in fact it goes to 0.
