  1. Its very true. I am the one who leaves the job. If I am not happy, and the job does not seem to be going anywhere, I leave. Usually for more money, and, lets face it, fresh and interesting work. Its sad but that is life.

  3. I admit to have this happen in the past, but not for a long time. I contract now. If for whatever reason they don't want me around anymore, the contract just gets terminated. Then I get another one. I'm 65 now. I'm not sure why I would want permanent employment anymore.
