  1. I write good documentation. I get user feedback that in the first sentence, its obvious they didn't even look at the manual. I care about this for simple users. The problem is I get people on my FOSS projects who come in and say "XYZ needs to be rewritten as ZYX" AND they clearly haven't read the manual. Users can be educated and I will spend all day helping them. Contributors with the "gotta rewrite that" itch make me believe my FOSS projects won't live 5 minutes longer than I do.
