  1. I used Xquartz to port Petit-Ami over to the Mac. Its not perfect, but it works. I'd prefer to use the native Mac API in the long run, and so in fact would GTK+. They mention this on their web site... Oh, did you know GTK+ used to or still runs on XQuartz?. It was a way to port apps to the Mac arranged in less than a week.
