  1. The computer industry has known about the ability to crack into systems since the 1960s. Since the mainframe and minicomputer era, the security of systems has actually declined, and there is no debate about that. The IBM 360 and the VAX had tighter security than Windows, Linux or Mac. Thus its hard for me to take seriously a threat based on the laziness of operating system designers of today. It can be fixed. If it isn't, bad on you (operating systems makers).
