  1. The issue to me is that marriage was declared "obsolete" in the 60's, but most women realized that it had equal or greater value for women as for men. So the result was to devalue it while retaining it, meaning that women were more willing to exit marriage. Now the problem is the opposite: men don't see the value in marriage, especially knowing the women are all to willing to quit the marriage, and men will suffer more damage than women in terms of child support and alimony. You reap what you sow.
