  1.  @bluehorseshoe444  - What the OP is ignoring, is that nearly all of the Federal debt happened under republican administrations. We as citizens received no benefit from $23 trillion of Federal debt, but hallaluya for already wealthy, the banks, oil companies, major corporations, Wall Street and the military/industrial complex. Taxes were slashed and federal subsidies were handed out left, right and center over the past forty years, mainly by republicans.
