  1. No, that is incorrect. The real cause is predatory financialized capitalism. When asset prices are driven through the roof, people fall behind and become desperate. Housing has gone up in price ten fold in California since I was a young adult, wages and pay are not even close to keeping up. Financial assets grew by over $8.7 trillion in the first half of this year, which is over 80% of GDP. The people who sell the idea that this is the fault of the democrats or the left, are the billionaires who own media empires. They want your attention diverted so they can continue looting and pillaging while telling you "look over there"!
