It is more likely the US 'create' such a missile attack to give them a 'legal' reason, it will not be the first time the US will trigger a new war, remember Vietnam Tongkin incident.

@dreteyete7305 true, but on the other side this time the war comes to US soil so they can feel what they did during the last 70 years in other countries. When only 5% from Russian hypersonic nukes reach their target it will be catastrophic for all of us.
