6:15 your ignorance on this kills me. Insurers made record profits during covid because you closed the hospitals for anything but covid... covid isn't expensive sheets compared to the other diseases that insurance companies have to pay for. Now, that hospitals are reopened again they have a backlog of things like hip replacements. The stocks are literally going down right now, today, because the companies said they won't be making record profits as they treat patients they couldn't treat during covid.... You can't make change when you're clueless how the system works.

Uhc is Making record profits because of the democratic party lol. Obamas Healthcare bill basically mandates profits for insurers(other states too). So you basically spend 85% of the premiums paid on Healthcare, 10% on overhead. And the remaining 5%, assuming you didn't make a mistake, is profit. People do make mistakes. Uhc just hasn't. It's not greed. 0-5% profit isn't greed.... The company is publicly traded. If you think they're such a good business, invest. I personally don't think it's the "best" business but I invest in other health insurance companies. And becauee I invested instead of whining, I can afford health costs. It's pretty easy, if you really think a business is stupid profitable, invest, then, you now get the money.... Personally I wait for the democratic party to say they're gonna help, then invest and make profits. Like electric vehicles. I made 10x my money on that investment. I fell into the trap of thinking the democratic party was helping people too. Now I understand and profit from the grift.

Just to sum it up 5% profit margin isn't greed. It's business. This isn't really even a health insurance issue. It's legislation. Because you've over regulated pharma, you don't have enough money to hire people to understand how to fix it. This is gonna happen with social media too. I got Facebook right at the lows before this run up. We're gonna get social media regulation, which will target the big players and "hurt them". But, there's always a grift, and I suspect, they'll write the legislation in a way that blocks new entrants. If I were to sum it up, Republicansn try to benefit business through obvious tax cuts. Democrats pretend they're raising taxes then, give huge breaks to their friends.

Yes America pays the most for medical care, and this is again, because you ask weird things from corporations. You asked want corporations to be nice right? To be good corporate citizens? One of the ways corporations are nice is that they subsidize the cost of their drugs to every other Country... so Merck does their volunteer work by offering drugs at discount for no cost to other countries. So, we subsidize the drugs for the whole world. It's not a fair comparison. We also do the majority of the R&D.

9:30 if you think it gets better with Healthcare for all, it doesn't.... Lol. Insurers make even MORE money if you do this. And, they get to double charge, just like they do in England. If you guys just left the country and understood how other countries work you would realize that in countries that have Healthcare,for all, you still need health insurance because the public health insurance system sucks. And the health insurers get to charge you twice because you end up buying the Private health insurance because it has more coverage and better doctors...

Healthcare for all doesn't mean you'll get the drug you want lol. It's the same system we have as today. Just more customers. You'd get the same outcome. If you want the nicer treatments, you still have to pay for those out of pocket lol. Doctors don't work for free.... If the government runs it, it'll just run the system into the ground overtime, and they still get rich. Lol.

You're on a government funded program. The government paid for your health insurance. They negotiated your bad coverage it's not the health insurers fault, it's your government.... you guys are the one that want to expand this program.... Lol. Medicaid and Medicare for all... yet you have no idea how bad the government is at negotiating the terms for your health insurance. And they would be even worse at running the business themselves...

4:15 if they did zero denials like you're suggesting it wouldn't be a profitable business. It's a 5% profit margin, government mandated, business. If you have a complaint with the structure created, blame the democratic party who did this under Obama. 5% profit margin is a fair deal.... The companies usually make less because of cost over runs but Uhc just runs a good business.

10:30 yes... because they can't operate across state lines sometimes due to regulations... you guys asked for these regulations and then you get upset when it bites you in the butt. This was done to protect local jobs and now you're saying that you don't want to protect local jobs, which is it? The regulation regarding this is so insane that yes it is United Healthcare, but it's 100 different companies under that umbrella... you can't just see any doctor you want it's not denying coverage if the insurance company has no relationship with that hospital or doctor. Some doctors don't want to waste their time on patients that can't afford to pay them anything... because just like you expect to get paid your wages at the end of every month that doctor also expects to get paid and if you don't want to pay them he's not going to work for you
