@volgantifriebus9549 I'm not religious, but I've seen the data. You're better off with religion. When you get rid of it, as many "enlightened" societies do then they collapse. This isn't the first time people have tried to do things like get rid of religion or remove sexual boundaries other societies have done it and that is when they fall apart. I would agree with you from a purely rational standpoint but in reality humans need these types of guidelines to prosper and it's stupid to get rid of them if it helps economic prosperity. These experiments with removing religion and removing sexual boundaries, Etc they all have external effects that the people who have thought about it rationally like yourself have not anticipated. This is why I have stepped back from those types of beliefs, because in reality we can't anticipate the externalities and we've done this so many times that we know what works and what doesn't and I'm willing to accept things that aren't perfectly rational if they do in fact still work. Humans have never been perfectly rational so if you need something like religion to get them to act better than I'm willing to accept something that I don't like if it works

@volgantifriebus9549 one of the main reasons I stepped away from liberalism is its actually just gluttony. And telling people unbridled narcissistic gluttony is good is wrong. Get married young, start a family, be a constructive member of society, these core values are better than the "freedom" the liberals preech. Freedom based on the expectation someone else will work hard to fund it. And people point to the uk and EU as societies where this worked. And imo, we see it all fall apart very soon. Religion works because it pushes family, and you need society to grow in population to prosper for dumb financial reasons I won't get into. Your "enlightened" Idea is something I wish worked because I believe it, but, we need people to procreate, and religion is a stronger push than societal duty or government force. It's why the societies that were religious prospered more. You don't have to be religious yourself. You just want the majority of society to be "reasonably religious". No human sacrifices, but you may have to put up with some lame bs.

As a dude who moved from Texas to Cali, not those 300 lb white women.... No.... Mix in the entitlement California leftism breeds, and no one wants those women. I've driven 2+ hours when in Texas.... Here... Forget it. Some weird color hair, weird xual, crazy woman, no thanks. California has a lot of weird virtue signaling. No idea what people think. In the south, despite what my liberal sister told me about the "rampant racism", it's probably much more likely to see an interracial relationship than the liberal areas. Just my anecdotal, completely no data looked at experience. Sure the data says something different, but imo, things have changed.

Also, Liberal women put zero effort, at least, in other areas, if she puts zero effort in, she's not also a loon who expects the world. There's at least some relatively remotely normal expectations. Liberals in Cali be like "I don't do anything but I deserve a top 1% dude."
