  2. 25% of respondents said it's OK to beat their wives, but, to be fair to these respondents, what if men and women are equal and interchangeable in their society? It'd be sexist to say they wouldn't beat their wife. Because she can handle a beating just like a man can. I don't know if we can use that. And it was men and women who said this? How do we know women aren't the ones saying yes, because they don't want to be treated differently?
