  1. There is an even faster chip coming. 4 m1max combined. Also, apple may be able to add 2 additional units that aren't m1max and are more gpu focused for insane performance. I don't know if add in boards/cards are possible. Personally, I don't think so. But I could be wrong. I don't think you can do an addin board and meet the speed/latency of the on chip. But if you do specialized 2 gpu units for 4 cores connected through interconnects, you shouldn't need more performance.
