@donaldkasper8346 this is dependent on if you have your own battery. If you have your own battery, of course it's for your home. You need solar plus a battery. If you want to keep your lights on in Cali you need solar and a battery, otherwise, you have nowhere to store your excess power. But who is stupid enough to build solar and not a battery as well?
