  1. As a person who's driven that Era of Mercedes, the Bose sound system will never sound good. Just replace it with an aftermarket. The Harman Kardon upgrade is okay but if you ever done your own custom speakers in a car then you might as well just pay for an aftermarket solution. That can also help with updating the outdated head unit too although I've never done that on a Mercedes
