  1. We always said don't buy new for how long? So, people who buy new are just paying a new tax. A used Honda civic works just the same as a new one.

  2. It's why I never complain about government hand outs. Typically speaking, even if I pay more in taxes, I'll get 100% of it back eventually through flow of money to a business I invested in. If you give money to a homeless dude who buys cigs, yes, I paid more in taxes for it. But I own Altria stock. Half the country doesn't own any stock. But they still pay taxes too. So, those tax dollars will disproportionately flow back to stock owners. I mean take the war in Ukraine. I load up on defense stocks often, we all pay more in taxes, but defense stocks go up as a result, offsetting it. You can't beat the system. You can only game it.
